The International Symposium on Non-Oxide and New Optical Glasses (ISNOG) is a traditional international conference in the field of glass. ISNOG will bring together scientists from around the world who are interested in the latest developments in non-oxide and new optical glasses. The topics to be discussed include advanced methods for modeling glass structures, synthesizing and characterizing chemical, physical, and optical properties, as well as the integration of cutting-edge applications of these new glass materials in the fields of optics, photonics, energy, and biomedical sciences.
This conference is held every two years, since the first time held in Cambridge, UK in 1981. It has since been held alternately in countries such as the United States, France, Japan, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, Brazil, the Czech Republic, India, China, South Korea, Russia, Canada, etc. The 22nd International Symposium on Non-Oxide and New Optical Glasses (ISNOG 2024) will be held in Hangzhou, China from October 20 to 23, 2024.
The main goal of ISNOG-2024 is to showcase the latest research, achievements, and global trends in non-oxide and new optical glasses, promote interdisciplinary interactions, and thus drive the development of this exciting field of materials research.
